Terms and refunds

Seats and payment

• A $300 deposit holds your seat once Ryan confirms your application.
• The rest of the tuition is due 14 days before the first day of class.
• A second seat from the same company is $200 off.
• The optional metallic day is $695 and is paid with your balance.

Refunds and changes

• Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 21 or more days before class.
• Inside 21 days, your deposit and any balance paid move to a future class of your choice. They do not expire.
• If Flake School cancels or moves a class, you choose a full refund or a seat in another class.

On the slab

• Class is hands-on with grinders, coatings and solvents. You agree to follow the safety instructions and wear the gear provided.
• Bring boots, knee pads and clothes you can ruin.
• We can remove anyone who works unsafely, without a refund.

What the class is and is not

You receive a certificate of completion. It is not a contractor license, not a manufacturer certification, and not a warranty program. Licensing rules depend on your state; in California, jobs over $1,000 in labor and materials require a CSLB license.
